The Yanchep area
Fishing, Beaches and Walking Trails…. Two Rocks is an unspoilt cray fishing village with marina, local shops and restaurants. The secluded beaches are perfect for walking, fishing or just relaxing.
Yanchep Lagoon is great family beach for swimming, snorkelling, fishing or soaking up the sun, and is manned by life guards during the summer season. ”The Spot’ is a popular surfing beach for the surf dudes. Close by is Yanchep National Park, one of the few places where you can see koala’s in WA, visit the crystal caves and enjoy the real aboriginal cultural experience ………. Suncity golf club, (St Andrews) is a beautiful 18 hole course with the local resident kangaroos and emus strolling between holes. Fee paying guests are welcome.
‘The leaning tower of Gin Gin’ can be climbed within the Gravity Discovery Centre, and in the evening, stargazing in the planetarium. Spend a day at the Maze or Wanneroo botanical gardens and mini Golf.
Take along your picnic to the Joondalup open air film festival in the summer months, or enjoy the buzz of the nightlife and restaurants in Joondalup city centre.
